I happen to be on the Teacher Appreciation Committee at our school. I absolutely love it! I really do.
And I know the teachers love it, which blesses me even more! I can almost picture them the morning of the lunch doing their “happy dance” because they don’t have to pack themselves a lunch that day (at least that’s what they tell me! 🙂 )
This month’s theme was, of course Valentine’s and our menu was Italian. We ended up with 3 salads (spinach, ceasar/Italian and mozzarella/basil/tomato), and 3 pasta dishes (pan of baked rigatoni, traditional lasagna and a spinach/chicken/alfredo lasagna) and a ton of desserts each day. I say each day because we have different teachers on MWF than we do on T/Th, so we actually do two lunches!
Anyway, just thought I’d share a couple of pictures from this month’s lunch.
Even on our teeny-tiny budget, we can show them some love.
